Getting started with Django

Django is a batteries-included web framework for Python. In this post we set up a project, create an app and render our first page.

Why Django?

It ships with an ORM, an admin panel, authentication and security defaults out of the box.

Don't repeat yourself.

Start small, then grow the project one feature at a time.
